Tom Sears at TCM
TCM was founded in 1957 and has grown from a local church-planting organization to an international organization developing Christian leaders for significant service by providing graduate level education. TCM has students and graduates in more than 40 nations in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and most recently in the United States. Using a blended format of study with approximately 80% online and 20% in the classroom, TCM provides the opportunity for national disciple makers to remain actively involved in their ministries while earning their Certificate, Master of Arts in Practical Theology degree or Master of Divinity in Practical Theology degree.
With the broadening of TCM’s vision to be one of every nation, God has opened doors for opportunities to provide education to an even larger number of disciple makers in the areas served for many years and to expand into new areas. In 2018 TCM began offering its program to church leaders in the United States, adding a mentoring center in Indianapolis. By 2020 there will be a second mentoring center in Arizona, as well as the first mentoring center in Kenya.
